Is this a scam?
No. Both payments and payouts run on Stripe — the same provider trusted by millions of businesses worldwide. Your card details never touch our servers, and recipients connect their own bank through Stripe Express to cash out.
Where does my dollar actually go?
~85% becomes real cash in the recipient's balance — to pay forward or cash out. The remaining ~15% covers Stripe processing fees (~9% on a $1 transaction due to the flat $0.30) and keeps the site online.
How does the recipient get the money?
Two options. They can pay it forward to the next stranger (no sign-in required), or sign in and cash out to their bank via Stripe once their balance hits $5. Payouts land in a few business days.
What countries can cash out?
Anywhere Stripe Connect supports — about 45 countries including the US, Canada, UK, EU, Australia, Japan, Singapore, and more. Paying it forward works everywhere.
Do I get anything?
Nope. That's the point. You might get a little dopamine hit, though.
Can I send more than $1?
Yes — any amount from $1 to $100.
What happens if no one claims my gift?
Gifts wait in the chain. The next visitor who arrives gets one. The chain only grows.
